Dark Mode is an interesting app that may help fix problems. It basically only activates dark mode on devices that have a dark mode but no toggle for users to turn it on. That’s basically it. You open the app, hit the toggle, and your phone enters into dark mode. This should work with most devices. However, there are some OEMs that disable dark mode permanently and this app can’t fix that. It’s completely free with no in-app purchases or ads.
Facebook Viewpoints is very similar to Google Opinion Rewards. You log in, answer survey questions, and get a bit of money or other rewards for your troubles. The app is for data collection like all survey apps so that shouldn’t surprise anyone. The UI is relatively clean and you can log in with just an email if you don’t have a Facebook account. The app has a lot of bugs right now and it’s not quite ready for public consumption. However, we expect Facebook to clean those bugs up over time and it should work well after that.
